12 years on and still can't get the strat right.

Hello people of the battlezone community!

Its been too long since i've played battlezone and i'm quite surprised there hasn't been a BZ 3 (knowing activison it'll be 'COD 8 space warfare'). It's great to see people still play this, I gotta say thanks to the programer(s) of the 1.5 patch as the 1.4 doesn't work on my computers and for getting the online working.

Anyway I got to ask as its bugging me, I swear in the original BZ the pilot's rifle/sniper use to recharge if so why was the function removed?

Ammo of pilots, tanks, etc does not recharge, and it has always been like that since 1998. I think you came to the wrong forum... recharging ammo that you speak of is a feature of a different game, Combat Commander AKA "BZ2". :mrgreen:

Here, in the real BZ, you have to grab an ammo powerup from the armory or go to a Supply building.

Hey Tom;
the pilot has always had the option of reoccupying a unit to "recharge" the ammo.

Thats for clearing that up, I was wondering if I got those games to mixed up.
