Quoting myself... lol wut?

What would you build, Grizzly or Bobcat?
Bobcat. Why... you ask? Because I can get the same amount of AT-Stabber fire plus 300 more units, the same AI, more speed and accuracy, less heat loss (good against hornets), harder to lock Shadowers and Comet on it, and a build time of 7 instead of 10 for 25% less scrap to build it, 100 radar units less, and 1000 units of hull.
Some people may have another opinion on that.

... Bobcat or Razor?
Bobcat again, unless I'm not in a Scavenger/Production unit building frenzy and need ships fast or I don't have a Factory.
Code:
---Bobcat vs Razor---
buildTime = 7.0---buildTime = 12
maxHealth = 2000---maxHealth = 1800
maxAmmo = 1500---maxAmmo = 700
heatSignature = 0.8---heatSignature = 2.0
imageSignature = 2.2---imageSignature = 1.5
velocJam = 5.0f---velocJam = 2.5f
accelBrake = 75.0---accelBrake = 80.0
accelJump = 20.0---accelJump = 25.0
To me, the Bobcat looks like a Razor-turned-Tank...

In a DM, SPs or MAGs? (technically Black Dog Grizzly vs. Stealth Grizzly)
This is one of those questions that usually turns into debate material... However, I think people can agree on one thing... the SP is, by far, the most efficient cannon to use.
In DM, I think efficiency doesn't matter as I have hosted interesting DM games...
Last night, I was trying to join Tailspin's Tanks vs. Bombers but I had to host instead because he wasn't responding... I haven't had that much fun since I haven't seen GOLEM, Hyperfighter, BattleDroid42, (Empty), Lone Fox, and Capt. Choes.
I spawned as a Stealth Grizzly instead of a Czar and I was loling. 300 meter MAG shots. How? Just fire partial charges and try to anticipate the movement of your opponent. If they charge at you, use full charge, but full only goes to about... 200m? I still missed my Czar though...

Who would win... Grizzly or Czar?
For Human players... It would depend on the pilot. For AI, I think Spork told me that in 1.5 and maybe 1.4, the Czar won.
xGurenx wrote:
...Razor or Flanker?
I pitch for Razor since Chaingun rounds tend to seem a bit slow.
xGurenx wrote:
Upgrade or not to upgrade during a strat?
I tend to not upgrade much, especially CCA. I believe that the risk of losing a unit far outweighs the benefit of an upgrade.
xGurenx wrote:
Is the NSDF Gun Tower better or is the CCA Gun Tower better?
I like the NSDF one more because it's a "Plug-in-Play" rather than trying to give the CCA towers some extra firepower.
xGurenx wrote:
Bombers... What should they be doing in your army? What about Walkers?
Bombers usually are given an escort unit (Thunderbolt-Bobcat, Thunderbolt-Wolverine, Grendel-Stoli, Grendel-Czar) and are told to hunt. Quite effective as I have turned a couple battles in my favor doing this...
Sasquatches are great for spraying ATs at enemy scavs and base defense, while Golems are good for area denial and Anti-Spork

tactics.

Scouts vs. Bombers... Who would win?
Back in 2000-2002, my Dad hosted a number of Scouts vs. Bombers games under the name GrendleHater. It was always a slug-fest. Think last night's Tanks vs. Bombers games, but with less lengthy fights, more explosions, and miniguns, chainguns, and shadowers instead of MAGs, Sps, Ats, Thumpers, MDMs, and Splinters.

RAVE Gun or Sniper Rifle?
Try running in a straight line at Spork with him equiped with his trusty steed starting at 1000m with a RAVE Gun.
