Why didn't you look inside the bzone.zfs? Use the UNZFS Tool to extract it.

hm, when I try to open unZFS tool a command prompt opens and immediately closes. Then if I try to manually open CMD and type in the commands they are not found.
Could anyone just upload the files?

UNZFS comes with a README file. Quote: This program is a console application. To use it click the start menu, select Run and type CMD. Then type
CD c:\program files\activision\battlezone\ It can be hard to understand if you've never used a command line application before. You basically have to pass information to it, the same way you pass "/win" to BZ to start it in a window and "/edit" to get to edit mode, for example. What I do is copy bzone.zfs and UNZFS.exe somewhere else, such as C:\bzone, make a text file with notepad and save it as "extract.txt" in the same folder, C:\bzone. Put the following text in it: Code: unzfs -u bzone.zfs Save it. Now, rename it to "extract.bat" and run it. Now you have all the files, including the build menu ODFs.

Thanks Spork, worked great! New issue: I successfully figured out which units are Bdog (im editing the friendly units to spawn as Bdog ones) but the scout and contructor do not appear (i changed av to bv just like every other unit) what did I do wrong?

For the Razor, try bvraz. The construction unit for the Black Dogs doesnt actually exist, in some mods you will maybe have seen it with Black Dog markings on them, but those are custom made vehicles, and need to be added to the addon folder.

I think the bvraz really should have been bvfigh, to match avfigh and svfigh, but Activision broke their naming convention with that one. The BDog Constructor in RO has its own model files, but as far as I can tell, that was pointless since it looks 100% identical to the NSDF constructor.

Just figured it out.
The Bdog units in the 7th CCA mission are units with the wrong stock engine sounds, as well as some units that were still stock NSDF ones.
After looking into the files, I found the bvrecy (used in 7th mission), which has a stock constructor.
Then I found the bvrec8 from the 8th mission which builds a new scout (new sounds), turret (new sounds), and Bdog constructor. This was probably the REAL Bdog recy, but wasn't implemented in the 7th mission. I'd like to see what Ken knows about this.
