Both of you realize that you can get everything in the Gold pack from the free 1998 installer on this site?

Ahh, yes. That's worth some cash.
Come to think of it, I wonder how much my original BZ disk is worth...
Not that I'd give it up.

Well, the non-Gold cd isn't worth a whole lot, you can get it used off of Amazon.com for $10.00.

But Gold....hmmm

That was all I could find. Not much available. Battlezone plus the Gold cd.

Actually I have Battlezone 1 with the original case and red Odyssey just like the dude selling on EBAY lol. Not a damn scratch on either cd either. In fact since consoles all BLOW I knew people were gonna want PC games again sooner or later so I kept over 400 of em as I bought em.

I've never gotten rid of any game I've ever purchased, unless it was broken or stolen. Call me a packrat... I call it 'a collector's spirit' ;)

I've got the original Heavy Gear, in that huge box it was originally marketed in... hundred-page manual and all.

Its also called being faithful to the good old PC. I appreciate people like that.

It's a real pity that the PC is getting the s*** end of the stick when it comes down to gaming these days. PC exclusives are almost entirely reserved for the indie gaming category since the rise of the 'PC console port', and said ports are almost always rife with bugs that are not readily patched. PC has always been the best gaming platform, with the incredibly strong defense of adaptability and power, but everyone that can make a difference seems to have forgotten.

On that note, can anyone think of any good PC exclusives that have come out in the last five years? Crysis is the only one that comes to mind.

arma 2- hyper realstic fps
but with the same system requirments as crysis if not more.

shattered horizons- indie game made by new small company.
its a fps in space. which is alot more intresting than it sounds.

fallout 3 on the pc trumps the console versions by far.

Only like a few were told how it worked .
I was one so I sit by my self making black holes out of BZ and stuff.
Ill be back gaming full time next fall & hope the BZ sever is still around. See you then .. Hope
