I'm trying to record a playthrough of The Red Odyssey (BattleZone 1's already done and uploading ), but Blitzkrieg is...troublesome. Does anyone have any advice? I've followed the advice in the walkthrough in this forum, but it's still not going well. I lose half of my Red Devils before the Recycler arrives, and the other half dies before the APC is done.' Anyone have any advice?

I followed those, but I still keep dying at every point, even on Easy. @Spl Eagles: Mission 6.

That's strange, with the strategy I used on Blitzkrieg as seen in the videos, it's pretty much auto-win, even on hard. I guess you'll figure it out eventually.

If you can get the Chinese base down, then most of your troubles are over. What I do, actually, is as soon as the enemy base is all destroyed, I destroy the rest of my Red Devils. Then, a few minutes later, a whole platoon of fresh new ones spawn and come to your location. Also, tell the Armory to deploy on the geyser down in the enemy base, and then arm your ship with a TAG Cannon and SP-Stabber. Pretty wicked! Tell your Red Devil's to follow the armory, that way they'll fight much more aggressively. When the Recycler comes, tell your units to FOLLOW it, not defend using the 9 key. for the same reason, that they'll fight more heroically. Other than the above advice, you just have to PERSEVERE! This was a tough one for me at first, too.

FYI you don't have to build an APC immediately. I always get 4 scavs, at least 4 turrets, and a factory with several tanks and walkers before I even think about the apc.

I was able to get away with making an APC immediately when I last played without the 1.4 patch (which I wish I was still playing with XD). But yeah. I'll see what I can do. I've never liked Walkers, though.

The walkers in BZ 1.5 are MUCH better, because their missiles converge onto the target instead of only one finding its mark. I build them in RO (especially in that mission) pretty much just as a magnet for the enemy!!! They are so tough that 2 or 3 of them can form a temporary wall, which buys time.
