Good news from Intel (it is actually an old news but it wasn't posted yet). Most of their new i-series processors have Intel® HD Graphics which works perfectly with BZ. If you have both decidated and integrated graphics card, all you have to do is switch to integrated when playing BZ. Here are the processors with Intel® HD Graphics: Code: Desktop processors:

I have the Intel HD 3000 graphics on my i5-2410m with the Turboboost and all that stuff on the same OS as you Joker, and BZ works great on my machine.

yeah i only hap a bit on trouble getting 1.4 to run on my i7. for some reason i thought i had less than 50 megs of ram even though i have 8 gigs. but then i put it in compatibility mode and now i get a peak fps of 800 something in 1.4.  i wonder if i overclocked my GPU i could hit 1000.

I prioritised my GPU so i bought a laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M. a AMD Radeon HD 6990M or a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M would have been fun to have, too bad they are so expensive.
