I beta tested this mod a few months back.. The physics are a bit awkward compared to BZ1, but it's very cool nonetheless.

Classic mod is not BZ mod, it is Combat Commander mod.

Its maker Avatar and other people you mentioned are not BZ players.

Since Avatar doesn't allow for http://www.battlezone1.net link to be posted on his CombatCommander forum, nor BZ98 and 1.5b installers to be promoted in any way, you won't promote his silly mod here either. (I got banned and my post got edited when I did so.)

I didn't say it was for BZ1, I said it was for BZ2. Its full name is Battlezone Classic, but I can see that might cause some confusion.



Avatar was playing BZ when it was released. Fuzzy, Mowerman, Cheeto and the rest of the CoW people were all in a clan that disbanded long before this site even existed... and most of them are have disappeared now, which is a real shame.



Avatar is a only a moderator of the (admittedly small and underused) BZ1 section on BZU, which is a power he has, to my knowledge, never used. It was TheJamsh who banned you, and he has never played BZ2. Avatar, though, has played it for years.


All in all, though, if you do not wish this to be posted, so be it. Your forum, and I apologise unreservedly if I have caused offence.

I know, but since your post was edited and since BZC name is deceiving, I had to make that clear.

I was playing BZ in 1998 too. Those people are nobodies in BZ and yet you talk about them like they represent something (even back then they were nobodies). The difference between I.E. Avatar and me is - after all this years I still play BZ, and even more important - I support it, while he and his buddies are trying to deny our existence.
I made this site in 2007 when everybody else stopped caring about BZ. The date of its creation doesn't tell anything about someone's playing years.

Seems you know a lot about my case, but that didn't stop you from talking about BZ2 in almost every post you made. Avatar is the only listed moderator of fake BZ1 section over there, while TheJamsh got degraded in the meantime. I'm still banned (although I wouldn't log in there anymore, even if they made me an admin) and battlezone1.net is still censored, while they offer BZE instead BZ1 to lost BZ1 players. Avatar should resign or take the blame.

I don't want to give them publicity every time someone mentions Combat Commander. Enough was already said about that subject:

As far as I'm concerned, anybody who can play a game that is so old deserves to be respected. So much new stuff is trash, but that's going OT.

I've been tring to... keep up. I visit BZU too, but I don't post because there's very little there worth replying to. The BZ1 community there is too small to bother with (not to mention full of idiots), and the BZ2 players are all either noobs or know their way around the game engine inside out and backwards.
I like BZ2 too, but I'm posting on the BZ1 forum because I like BZ1 more
