Hey everyone long time player first time poster, love the game and have been playing for many years, my nephew recently got into the game and being younger i turn the cheats on for him so he can play. Recently, they just stopped working. i press control+shift and when i start to enter the codes its as if the game is not recognizing the combination of control and shift. Normally i dont play with the cheats so im am befuddled as to what could be wrong so im asking the pros lol Anyone have any ideas?
I am currently running the 1.5 version (btw thanks Ken, awesome work so far!) they worked fine for a while and suddenly have stopped working.

They work fine for me... Infinite ammo (CTRL+SHIFT) BZTNT Infinite hull (CTRL+SHIFT) BZBODY Infinite resources (CTRL+SHIFT) BZFREE Satellite view with no tower (CTRL+SHIFT) BZVIEW See everything on the map (CTRL+SHIFT) BZRADAR You have to hold CTRL and SHIFT the whole time while typing the code. Hope that helps.

I do hold them down the entire time. I did notice that when im typing them my tank responds to the A and D keys by strafing left and right. I noticed before that it wouldnt move when i would enter the cheats....maybe this will shed some light? its quite frusterating
i just uninstalled the game and reinstalled from fresh download and the issue persists...any help would be awesome

It's normal for your tank to move when typing in the cheats I'm fairly certain, at least that is what has always happened for me, stock cd, pre 1.4, 1.4, and all of 1.5.

Then i wonder why my game isn't recognizing the codes anymore...its really strange...its like they were deleted from its coding or something lol

Maybe you have your computer programmed for that keystroke of the ctrl and shift keys when pressed at the same time? Could be interfering with the game? Just throwing out ideas.

SO! figured out what the problem was...if your playing battlezone and want to use the cheats DONT have Skype open at the same time lol. The game will run fine but from what i can tell if any of your keyboard shortcuts in skype are also in BZ then Skype will read them instead of the game...from what i can tell anyway...
Long story short, I closed skype the cheats worked

dude dont post cheats for multiplayer...no one here wants them or needs them. We have enough people hacking a good game already and dont need anymore
