I'd like to try my hand at updating the vehicles and structures in BZ. Anyone know if it's possible to do this with say MilkShape3D? If so, are there any good resources or tutorials showing you how to import your own models?
I haven't played BZ since my days at Heat.net. I was the Activision BZ champion back in the day (On Heat.net). It was an exciting game. I have a poster somewhere with signatures from Pandemic, though I didn't like BZ2 half as much as I liked BZ1.

ok, you have to have 3ds max 7 and dummy's exporter to get geo files. Once you have the geo files, throw them together using VDF loader. If you prefer modeling in some other modeling proggy, just export from <insertmodelingprogram'snamehere> to a format that max7 can read.
It's actually much more complicated than that, but it you're serious about this, then just take it one step at a time. If you need to know where to download something, just ask and I'll do my best to find it.
