 Post subject: Czar - 3000 hull?

I discovered that Czar has 3000 hull, although ODF says 3250. Anyone has an explanation?

Lemme check...

MP version of the CZar in 1.0 has 3250

1.4 patch version has...3250

So, it has 3250, not 3000. American Grizzly has 3000.

Where did you see one with 3000 hull?

I just looked for a Czar with 3000 hull, there isnt one. How did you come to the conclusion that it has that?

Re-read my first post, ODF's are wrong! It's probably (net) code thing.

I just don't know if hull is different than it says or weapons do more damage than it says, or both. In any case you can destroy both Grizzly (3000 hull) and Czar (3250) with dual MAG's (3000 damage).

Yea i've found that in bz1 weapon explosions do more damage then they say. it's probably some kind of lensing efect of the code, the farther away u are the less damage it does, the closer, seems to do more. not sure.

that is quite puzzling though...hmm

NO WER DID U GET THIS FROM I DO ALOT OF TESTING AND CZAR FULL HEALTH CAN SURVIVE A DUAL MAG AND BTW DIFFERENT UNITS HAVE DIFFERENT DAMAGE REDUCTION LIKE FOR EXAMPLE FIGHTER HAS 2700 HULL AND YET DIES TWICE AS FAST AS GRIZLY WHICH HAS 3000 COZ IT HAS MUCH MORE ARMOR\DAMAGE REDUCTION AND ANYWAY I DONT KNOW WAT UR TALKING ABOUT HERE COZ 3250 HULL IS BASICALLY 10% mORE THAN 3000 AND GIVES CZAR THE ABILITY TO SURVIVE DUAL MAG AND I HAVE TESTED IT MYSELF AND CZAR GETS LEFT WITH LIKE 10% OF ITS HP BUT THERES A POSSIBILE DIFFERENCE IN DAMAGE COZ I TESTED WITH CCA AND GAVE A CZAR DUAL MAG AND SHOT A CZAR WITH A CZAR TANK SO MAYBE NSDF TANKS HAVE DAMAGE BONUS AND ALSO IM NOT SURE ABOUT ARMOR\DD DIFFERENCE OF CZAR AND GRIZLY BUT CZAR MIGHT HAVE SLIGHTLY MORE OR CZAR HAS SAME HULL AS GRIZLY BUT MORE ARMOR COZ IM SURE CZAR SURVIVES DUAL MAG UNLESS ITS BEEN BASHED UP BY SCAVS SO BADLY IT LOSES THAT EXTRA HULL

Darkvim and I are correct.

you're wrong spock. Duel Mag does not kill a Czar in 1 hit.

CZar does not have 3000 health, it has 3250 health. After a duel mag hits it, it still has 150 health left. (duel mag does 3100 damage, 1500 from each bullet, 50 from each impact explosion)

If you tested this in single player, the only way a duel mag kills a czar is if you have the difficulty set on "easy", wich makes the players weapons stronger then usual. Med is normal, like MP, and hard is your weapons are weaker then normal.

So, Spock, after that proof, your wrong. I'm sorry but you are. you see, dealing with HOW the game works, etc, all the healths and ammo and weapon damage, etc. This is what I do. I know my stuff. :)

I do hope I've cleared up any mis understandings for you.

well, when i tried it, using the first mission, it did not kill the tank fully.

i'll try using multiplayer sometime. maybe the net code does something goofy.

You see, according to the ODF, a full MAG does 1450 damage.

A Dual MAG would then be 2900 damage, 100 damage short of destroying a standard NSDF Tank.

Either there is an error in the damage calculation, or there is some unknown factor that causes total dual MAG damage to be over 3000.

Stealth Tanks and regular Grizzlies have 3000 hull, BDog Grizzly 2800 hull, Czar 3250 hull (supposedly, according to ODF).

Yet, with the Dual MAG only doing 2900 damage (according to ODF), all 3 tanks are destroyed by a single hit with a dual MAG at full charge.

Strange indeed.

It seems that hull from the ODF is fine, relatively speaking. Czar does have more hull than Grizzly, but the problem is in weapons. Online, they are stronger. Few testings are needed, to get the right percentage.

Also don't forget the explosions, wich cause the duel mag to come up to exactly 3000 damage, not 2900. (50 per impact explosion)

Still doesn't explain how duel mag could kill a Czar at FULL health.

Also, re watching the video, I notice that Czar is not at full health, if you watch, the health bar climbs when you become a pilot. :?: still doesn't look like enough of the bar to make up a differance of 250 health.
