I noticed 100% loss to some in the lobby. I tried setting DMZ and resetting my connection and rejoining the lobby, but that had no effect. I had previously played a DM game, but I couldn't see "napster". Should I assume that the problem is not on my end since I see most players? I think it's strange that I see 100% loss to "Buzz" since in the DM screenshot, which was taken before the lobby screenshot, I saw him in the game just fine.

Do I have a connection/router issue? Yes.
I tried setting DMZ and resetting my connection and rejoining the lobby, but that had no effect. Did you assign static IP to your computer?
Should I assume that the problem is not on my end since I see most players? You see only those for which you have ports opened.
I think it's strange that I see 100% loss to "Buzz" since in the DM screenshot, which was taken before the lobby screenshot, I saw him in the game just fine. When the game ended and when you came to the lobby, you both got a new port.

I got my own internet service now, so I am on a slightly different router (Zyxel PK5000Z), but everything is the same: My computer in DMZ, I am 192.168.0.2: Command prompt ipconfig verifying that I am 192.168.0.2: It would seem to me that this IP is, more or less, a static LAN IP. The issue is definitely worse now than it was on the neighbor's router, before I could ping most people, but now I see 100% loss to most.

Would a wired ethernet connection bypass this problem perhaps? Right now I am wireless. I might try direct connection later.
EDIT: Direct didn't change anything.

I don't think I had an issue when I first posted this topic, because I was on my neighbor's internet and I played a game with 8 players and saw all 7 of my opponents: I never had trouble joining games or seeing people in the lobby (most of the time) and I never had to port forward or set DMZ. That was on an Actiontec PK5000. I'm going to see if I can request that specific router from my ISP. I think that is my best option right now. Thanks for the help Spock. It appears I did everything right, but it just didn't work. The router has a firewall, but it's disabled by default and I never turned it on. I even did a manual configuration of my wireless connection like this to ensure I would always be 192.168.0.2. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are Google Public DNS servers, if you were wondering where I got those numbers from.

It looks like everything is working now with the Actiontec PK5000. No port forwarding or DMZ was needed.

Oh I see. USB wireless might be very different, I've never tried it. My computer's wireless card is built-in, and the speed of the wireless is 54 mbps, which is faster than my internet connection.

My laptop connects wirelessly and I have been using it for Battlezone for 2 years. Wireless is fine as long as you have a router that has a powerful wireless range. With my desktop I can ping some people at 30 or so and others at 400. With my laptop the best I can get is 124 with the worst being about 500. There isn't much in it. Plus my laptop is as far away from my router as possible. (Not on purpose, that's just how my room is in relation to where the router is).
