Hi All,

An old (literally and figurativly) BZ addict who's finally come back. Played BZ for hours on end (much to my wife's anger) back in 98-99. Windows XP came out and couldn't get it to work, so I though that it was over for my old friend. A week or so ago I just happened to search the web and find the new patch, and have been on the game ever since.

Amazing how the old muscle memory comes back for commanding units even after 8-9 years away. Working my way back through the missions again, remembering which ones I loved and which ones did (and still do) piss me off....

Sad to see though how few people are on multiplayer. I remember the days when there were 10-15 rooms running with 20 or so games in each one. Oh well....

ANyway, glad to be back, even though my grandson thinks this is a stupid game because it doesn't have the graphics of his xbox or the body count of Gears of War.

It's not all about the graphics, it's about the game play. Glad to see another bz fan! :D

Ask him if its better to look at a high definition picture or play a very good game
if he thinks the picture is better he have to watch films and shouldnt play games

Welcome back - make sure you have a look at the 1.5 stuff - updates BZ quite a bit! ..and with regards to graphics, Minecraft is a modern game with (when stock) extremely simple graphics (even BZ looks fancy compared) and 4 million people have bought it in the last couple years! =)

Was looking at some old smeg clan news from 98-99 just a couple hours ago...ahh brings back memories!
