I dont know how to explain it
the game runs normally but when I get still the screen freezes but the sounds can be heard,like if the game is running but the image is froozen
also happens when I go to certain places,like in the toturials in the second one when I get to the first checkpoint the image freeze too

videocard is geforce 8300 gs and I have vista

Which version of graphic card driver you have?

Do you use Zone Alarm?

Does it always freeze on the same place or after certain amount of time?

I dont know what version I have

anyway I fixed it by playing in window mode,the game runs smoothly but in low resolution but is enough for me

btw I read there was a map editor for this game,where I can get it?

Zone Alarm is firewall which is known for freezing Bz during gameplay.

Map Editor is built in Bz. If you have Bz 1.4N it's here

dowloaded driver but still got same problem,also when I press 9 to use the satelite the image freeze completly so I cant play the game like that,the same when using SITE camera

but when I use the configuration setting stuff to run in window mode the game runs fine
but I dont know how to do that whit red odyssei

so there is another way to play the game in window mode?

Did you try different resolutions? Some have problems when the game res. doesn't match monitor res.

For playing in window make shortcut for RO on your desktop. Enter properties and add /win in the end of Target box.

tried changing the resolution a lot of times but didnt worked too

another thing is that after installing the drivers,the 3d card mode worked when I put the game to run as administrator but save files didnt appear
