I have installed the 1.4 patch, Large Assets, Antilag, Render.cfg, Servers.dat patches (in that order). I also installed zeckensack's Glide wrapper and used ACT (Application Compatibility Tool) to make it Win98 compatible. It works for regular graphics. But I am not able to make it work with 3DFX effects.
Any suggestions on how to make 3DFX graphics to work on XP? Thank you in advance.

"Antilag" is something like 1.8 "patch", better get rid off it and download just winets2.dll. I have no idea what's "zeckensack's Glide wrapper". You probably have to configure render properly. Check 1. & 2. from FAQ."LargeAssets=1" or "Enhanced, large Textures - check"

Check 1. & 2. from FAQ."LargeAssets=1" or "Enhanced, large Textures - check" Zeckensack's Glide wrapper converts 3DFX calls made by games to D3D/Glide equivalent. So it is like having a translation that makes the game to believe it has a 3DFX hardware, but what it does is that it passes the order to D3D/Glide library that delivers the graphic commands to your video card. Since very often there is no direct equivalent, the wrapper works on the "closest approach" to emulate 3DFX. However, I understand that if a game makes direct hardware calls, skipping the library calls, wrapping may not work properly.

I installed the game as described in items 1 and 2 of the FAQ and it works perfectly. Congratulations to those who made the fixes. They did a wonderful job. Now the only remaining thing is to find out how to make music to play during gameplay.

I want to congratulate the team who put all this together. It works flawlessly so I can live again those old years of gaming with BZ. You could say it if only you could see my big grin when I play. Keep up the good work!!
