Playing on hard this time? :P

It would make sense that RED STORM happened first.

The Chinese wipe out the CCA and then the Black Dogs wipe out the Chinese. I never thought about it until now.

yea. This is gonna take a while. :)

This is how I think TRO history goes as.

The CCA are the first to arrive on Ganymede. Not long afterwards, the Chinese arrive, they take the Pegasus relic and gain the ability to cloak and travel to Elysium. On which case the CCA then force the Chinese to move to Elysium to escape. The CCA follow them though are pushed back by the Chinese, which then take total control of Elysium, and move on to Ganymede, and finish off the CCA on Ganymede. Enter the Blackdog Campaign a few months later.

I still haven't beat Chinese #2. It gives me nightmares at night!

Just kidding, but perhaps I will try it on easy, then medium, then hard. Good luck with your TRO on hard quest.

and sporkinator i did see your video on how you beat the 7th chinese mission, and i dont think thats cheep. nothing is cheep on a mission that hard lol. but i didnt know you could snipe deployed turrets...

You can't snipe deployed turrets. That turret was not fully deployed. Here's what happened, although it's hard to tell by watching the video:

I made my way out of the base, heading for the East Bridge. As I approach the turret's location, IT DOESN'T EXIST YET. But once I get a certain distance away, IT APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE and deploys. When a turret deploys, it takes 8 seconds. After that 8 seconds, it is able to use its weapons, and is unsnipable. But I sniped it before the 8 seconds were up, while it was still deploying. If deployed turrets could be sniped, I'D SNIPE THEM ALL!

oh i see. yeah i know you can snipe turrets in the 8 secs while their deploying (great targets). i didnt see it appear out of nowhere. i gg watch the vid again to see exactly where it appears. does it only appear on the east side?

and yeah any and everyone would snipe all deployed turrets if they could be sniped

I actually discovered this thanks to the cutscene that plays telling you what bridge to go to. In that cutscene there is no turret near the crates, but when I get to the bridge, the turret is there. After noticing that, I figured that maybe the turrets don't actually exist until you get close to them, and I was right.

Here's an easy way to see it appear:

Start Chinese mission 7 and activate the radar cheat. (ALT+SHIFT+TEDONTDIE)

After you reach the Comm Tower and you are told which bridge to go to, press CAPS LOCK to switch to map overview radar and head East. Pay attention to your radar map. As you head up the hill as I did in my video, you will eventually see red squares show up on the overview map. If you do it right, you can get a visual on the closest red square, the turret, and snipe it before it finishes deploying. Once you understand how to do it, you of course can do it without the radar cheat. It's possible to see it appear right before your eyes, rather than on radar.
