Battlezone 1

i need help playing ia maps!!

i see all the maps here that everyone has created

but how do i play them!!

i have teh bz enhanced im using win7 the instal works .. i have played it

but i dont know ho to run /install new ia maps

In the pack you downloaded, extract them to your "addon" folder in your BZ directory. (You can create a folder within the addon folder to keep it organized) Then, create a shortcut to bzint_d3d9.exe, place it anywhere. Then go back to the files you downloaded, and look for a .bzn file. it could be like killthebitch.bzn or something. Then go to the properties of the shortcut you created, and place the name at the end of the "target" line.

EXAMPLE:

"C:/Program files/Battlezone 1.5/bzint_d3d9.exe" killthebitch.bzn

after i tryed this a error message comes up saying bz has stopped working

is there a file that will record the error
im using win 7


and remember the game works i have bz enhanced

Why have BZE?
Have you looked at this page: battlezone-club-fake-1-4-installer-and-bze-mod-t1927.html

the majority of all maps are made for BZ including the once here. if you want to play the maps here download either Bz1.4 or bz1.5.

Go download the Battlezone 1998 and play all IA missions you want:

Modify your BZ shortcut to read "bzone missionname.bzn /nointro".

BZE is not going to bring you anywhere, you only have singl...*cough* multiplayer.

Yep, what kind of game is "enhanced" when Singleplayer is ripped out?
Even if you can't play MP in 1998, you can still play SP.

I love when people contradict themselves... but it could be the grammar thing, maybe he wanted to say: "I was a loyal BZ player, but then I installed BZE".

You do know that this community is playing BZ1998 and most of us are against BZE?

yea i guess you can say i get what i pay for ive never bought the game it came with my video card back in 98.
but i admit im hooked on the game play

i thought the bz groups went dormant.

than one day i got an email
with a link attached

to what my installed directory calls Bz Enhanced

i' give it a shot i will try the 1.4 or what ever the latest version is..
hmm arent they all hacked up... they need to be in order to work with wind 7
because the original doesn't work and activision doesn't offer support the game i may be mistaken

Hacked is the wrong word, at least if we are talking about the 1998 installer. 1998 offers the best of original Battlezone while having various additions like new maps and for example fixed Grizzly model (original 1.4 model was broken).

That's enough; say/play BZE one more time and see what happens...
