Man that version was glitchy.

such as; you could control the enemy in certain levels.

if you used the mas grenade to make an enemy recycler make something like a factory the game would lock.

and if you used a mas grenade to control a fury and then used the "pick me up" command

the game would lock.

Oh yea, in the mission "Total Destruction" I used Mas Grenade. I dropped a Mas Grenade on a Czar, sniped the Czar, then shot a Mas Grenade at the Czar, went into the Czar while it was part of the NSDF, and when I was in it, it turned back into CCA, so I went to my Recycler and shot at it and it turned red. :lol: :lol: So i began pumping out Factorys, lots of Factorys, and Scavs, and Armory. And soon there was bout 50 NSDF factorys that are enemys, 100+ NSDF scavs that are enemys, and lots of Armorys then the game crashed, probably to much stuff. :lol: :lol: Also in Total Destruction, I Mas Grenaded the CCA factory and attempted to make a Minelayer, but the game crashed. Theres no Minelayer data at all in the game! :shock:

It had no minelayer data, but something called a "hover apc" which was the exact same thing as an apc. and it pumped that out.

it would be cool to fly one of those furies though.

Hover APC.... I remember that in the second Europa mission there are APCs named Hover APC (altough the name don't show up in game cause they arent in the sprite tables). Probably a N64 leftover or something, at least it clears something up! :)

Never played RotBD myself, I tried to run it several times in an emulator but no avail. It sounds cool though.

Sorry 'bout the bump... just wanted to say that I grew up on BZ:ROTBD. It was glitchy as all getout but it was still hours of fun... and the music was (despite most people's complaints) pretty slick. I actually recorded a few of my favorites years ago and still have the files. Plus the Black Dog missions were epic. Outgunned, outmanned, and outmaneuvered at every turn, those slick Mammoth tanks, familiar landscapes, and those occasional annoying Furies buzzing around overhead.... I'd like to know what that alien armory contained though. I love getting new weapons :D

i remember playing this at my friends it was a pretty awesome game makes me wish i still had my n64 so i could find a copy but atleast i have the soundtrack for the blackdog missions

I really wish though that someone could remake the black dogs campagin for the PC version
