Interesting for me what is it to be laggy in DM. I mean, for example, server is in France and I'm in Russia. My lag is hi, Im loosing packs a lot. I follow enemy tank and see it moving not smooth but jumping in a moment from point to point. But how my tank looks like from overs eyes? Is it freezing from time to time or what? And how it depends on my shooting?

Location of Battlezone server has very little to do with the game play. It's a peer-to-peer game, so when somebody hosts, their computer becomes the server for that game. The Battlezone server (or Anet server rather) simply connects it all together, by listing games that you can join, and allowing you to create a game (host). If you are laggy and dropping packets, make sure you are not downloading anything, or running any programs in the background while playing. Hope that clarifies it.

Spork, seeing his example I think hes aware of what you are saying. He's just one of those who calls game a server, which is tehnically correct, with knowing that host becomes a server.
Jager, you can experience lag due many reasons... It can be your connection... Be sure your ping to the main server is under 300. Then it can be your graphic card issue... Be sure you have steady 60FPS. Of course, other player might experience named issues, so the problem might not be in you. More info is needed...
If you are not just downloading while playing (which is a big no no), seek help in technical support section.

Thanx for your explanations. Anyway that @main@ server process all actions that other players do and send the data with map location and actions of other players to my local server, correct? So, if most players are in Europe, sitting on wide channels, they have less lag than me, worming through dont know how many nodes and narrow channels.
But my question was slightly different. Lets put I have ping over 300. How do such player looks like in game for over players with low ping number? How his ship behave? Does it make disturbance in game process? Is it easy to hit player with high ping number?

It is harder for others to hit you, than for you to hit others. It is against the server rules.

Ups, you mean that MY ship jump from place to place?
"Things like that ruin the game for everybody." Can you explain in details what does it mean in sense of data which me and others send and recieve during combat?

So, it means that someone play against rules if he create a host and open other programms and download smf along with playing BZ? Or anyway also if he connect to already created game having big ping number?

Yes. Some do it on purpose, others by "accident". In both cases you get a warning and an explanation, before server ban occurs.
