After I installed the game, and tried to run it, I keep getting System Error message that says "The program can't start because MSVCP50.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Doesn't help that this is language that I do not understand, lol. Could someone help me out here?

are you using the 1998 installer from
Battlezone1.net

and I found this

Spoiler:
An application will usually look first in the application folder. If it
doesn't find what it needs there it will look in the Windows folders. It
usually works for me. You need the correct version of the run time library
for the program in question. As you know, there are a few.

Okay I now have the game installed, and it runs smoothly. However, the sound is F'ed up. It breaks and stutters a lot. Is there anything that can be done about that?

There are no known issues with the sound. Try updating audio drivers.

It shouldn't. You do that cause you have more than 3GB of RAM?
