My first Strategy match on Multiplayer was against Snake Eye on Claustrophobia, I was NSDF and SE was CCA and it went something like this:
We both started setting up our bases and I sent out a patrol squad. They eventually found some scavvys and destroyed them, then they strolled into SE's base, never to be seen again. SE was going easy on me so I wasn't attacked until much later in the game. I got my Constructor to build some silos at nearby scrap fields, then I ordered for a direct attack on SE, which as expected, completely failed due to his evil dual blast GT's...
As i started getting attacked i decided to move my production units to another geyser site. (good move as there were a few Golems approaching home base) I started setting up base 2 and within 5 minutes my base was surrounded by Golems! At that time I didnt know what to do so i ran for it! My 2 bases were completely obliterated as I hopped about looking for a unit to snipe. SE kindly gave me one of his Czar's for a final attack on his base. SE's base was completely protected at all angles, so I tried to hid in his recy (yes I know it's pathetic to that but I couldn't think of anything else to do lol
). I died in the process so i hopped about dieing at 30 second intervals. Number of lives were set at 5 so i died quite a few times.
Eventually I reached my 5th death and it was game over!
