As you may have read I am on a bit of a mission to sort the NVIDIA driver issues with BZ.
It seems now the best bet is not to modify the game, but to get the drivers changed to make them compatible.
I've ben through customer services, and they had no clue, but told me to input a bug report.

So my next plan is to get anyone out there with this issue to do the same, if you have NVIDIA cards, and yor BZ graphics are poor then follow the link, explain the problem using the image examples here:

system-specifications-t633.html

and suggest they duplicate the problem using the BZ1998 download here:

downloads-battlezone-installer-t12.html

Finally the relevant webiste for the bug report is here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/driverqual ... rance.html

Perhaps if they see it's not an isolated issue, and that they have fallen behind other card manufacturers, they may be more inclined to fix the problem.

Here goes!

I'll certainly put in a report - even using an old 7300GT with '06 drivers I still get visual artifacts - with the current drivers it's a bloody nightmare to play a long game (unless you appreciate a slideshow *sigh*)

Nice idea. Any feedback so far?
To be honest I dont think that some weird Battlezoners are relevant for nVIDIAs Driver-Crew, so a User-Test of all different GraphicsCard + DriverVersion combinations would be more useful.
Anyone interested in doing some testing and gathering the data in a new thread?
