Battlezone 1

Ok i've been looking around for an answer to this issue but i havent found anything conclusive. Originally i didnt really notice but then i installed battlezone on my laptop and the difference was amazing. On my desktop, none of the voices ever play, gunfire is extremely sporadic and i dont hear any of the engine noise. Im using 1.5 for single player purposes because it runs much better than 1998, any ideas?

All I can say is check your volume levels in Windows.

Alright i did a little more research into the issue. I can hear the vehicle's hover noise if im standing next to it as a pilot, and i hear the noise generated when my shots hit something but not when they are fired. Hopefully this will mean something to somebody
