I redid the grizzly model, because I've gained some skill since I did it(it was my first model):

I'm good at drawing too, but that means nothing in a BZ world. You have to find a way to put these drawings in the addon, for us to test it and evaluate it. Otherwise, this is all meaningles. Additionally, we would need ALL new models or none.

oh it's going to be in addon, once the texture is made and I like it... I'm just posting here so you guys can compare mine the original one, and tell me if you see and differences, so I can fix it...

And how the original model looks? Maybe you should put one next to the other.

But even if you make them "better" (since you are obviously talking about adding your models to the stock game, not to the mod), like Ken said here - "The downside is that high-quality models would make everything else look terrible by comparison..."

Anyhow, I can't admire a drawning, I need to see all models in the game to give my opinion. I need to see how they fit with the rest, do they change BZ (bad) or improve it (good). :P

you don't have to use them you know, and even if ppl don't want them, I can always implement them in a mod...

it's not a drawing, it's a 3d model, and all that has to happen for it to be in bz1 is for somebody to export it for me... but I won't do that until the texture is done, otherwise it would look goofy w/o a texture... it would look exactly like that if it were in bz1, grey and all...

A 3D Model is basically a drawing done in 3 dimensions instead of 2. :)

maybe so, but it's just one step from being in BZ, so I don't know what the problem is... have to go spank N1, brb... actually, it looks as though he is rather busy, but maybe somebody else can do the texture... hint

I don't see a point in comparing Josiah's Grizzly drawing with the Intro screenshot, when that one is not in the game, therefore not the one you are planning to replace. Though it sounds like a perfect job for BZU clowns.

If you don't have original Grizzly drawing (the one from the game, not the one from the Intro), nor Josiah's game model, how to tell then if you are doing a good job or not? Comparing Josiah's Grizzly drawing with the original game model is like comparing apples and oranges.

I need 2 drawnings (original and Josiah's) and/or 2 models (original and Josiah's), to be able to evaluate.

I'll wait...

He's making his model based on the one shown in the "intro screenshot" (Battlezone Concept Art). I think Josiah's new model is looking good, but it will clash with all the other models in the game, therefore it will be useless. :|

Ah, Captain Obvious. I was writing my previous post very carefully, to show that I know what's Josiah doing, but fail to see our role in it, when missing few things like original drawing, his model, the textures, other models...

I can draw even better looking tank than the one from the intro, but that's beside the point. THE POINT is, when already trying to improve current in-game models, why use intro-models as the limit?

Didn't I show the original drawing? I can post them side by side, if you want...

ok, this is irritating me; it's not a drawing! And the reason I'm making them is because I want the original models, and since they no longer exist, I'm remaking them...
