Hello,

It has been several years since I have played BZ, and have been hunting for my original BZ and Red Odysseys CD's and can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can download them? I was also wondering if anyone has been able to get it to work on Win 7 professional.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Affirmative, Dave. I read you.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't give you ISO links due legal issues, but Sporkinator might if you PM him. Instead I'm suggesting you to use BZ98 installer.

Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about Win7 issues. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over. You could try visiting Tech support, but I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.

Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.

HAL and Dave! Classic. I love your post, HAL. :)

"Hello, Dave..."

Full ISO images/Original disks really serve no purpose now except to make the music play in the game. If you want them simply for that, that's fine, but either way you should (as HAL said) first download the Battlezone 1998 Installer and install the game. The original CD's do not contain all the latest fixes, and to apply them all is quite a hassle. But with the installer, you're good to go right after installation, aside from the infamous Vista/Win7/DX10 issues. Try it though... it's crazy, so crazy... it just might work! ;)

Thanks Spork, the download worked great. Had no issues with Windows 7 either, worked right after install.

Thanks..

You're welcome, but I was simply expanding on what HAL said. The entire BZ community helped make the installer, so don't thank just me, thank them. ;)

Looks like someone didn't watch Kubrick's classic...

BTW, can I have the list of all those people who made BZ98 installer? I want to thank each person separately.
