Hey guys, It's quite nice to see BZ coming back. It's better than playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 without any friends to play with you. Just started playing one week ago, kinda rusty though. Played online starting in 2000 and had to stop in 2003 because of family issues that shut off the internet connection to my home. Then I started back up shortly before my High School graduation in 2008 and stopped playing in 2009 when the 1.4L multiplayer lobby had nobody for days. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 took my attention away for a while. Now, I'm playing again. Nostalgia on steroids!

Every installer after that was made by us, and always had all the latest updates for playing online. I started BZ multiplayer in 2006. Welcome to the zone!

yeah, I started playing online in okt 2008. A guy on youtube named arequiemaeternam7 told me about the bz community and the new server.dat. Played a little but i stopped because the servers where empty for quite some time. Then I came back and found spocks installer, new server, and more players online.

He disabled Anet servers autoupdate, when his server was dying and when everybody was moving to battlezone1.net, due unacceptable 911 server regime. He wanted to destroy BZ rather than to lose the "control" of it. Few of us did everything in our power to notify as many people as we could about the new server, but unfortunately few were left behind. You were one of them, but luckily, you found us in a different way. Welcome back!
