I know this is not new since i have already read through the site about this problem. But I have already tried crossover and running it on fusion (virtual machine). Fusion is the only successful but the performance is horrible and crossover always crash when trying install it. I saw some people that said they managed to run it, but they never specifies how or if there is an already installer for it since I dont find it on the downloads section. There's no BZ installer for Mac. If someone made BZ work on Mac it was done with BZ98 installer, which contains all available patches and updates. Your only alternative is 1.5beta installer. Check how that works for you then report back to Ken. Quote: Fusion is the only successful but the performance is horrible What's wrong with it?

BZ 15 crashes at the same point as the others tend to, universally they all install on mac, using crossover, or the myriad of other wine-based tools...
Then they launch and either crash immediately, or load a black, blank screen and crash, or if you're really lucky you get the conical green cursor of infinite hope.

Battlezone II is long since available for mac as a winebottle on some torrent sites.

I met few mac users who managed to get BZ working in 1.4 (if they weren't lying). With 1.5 it can only get better. If 1.5 doesn't work for you, tell it to Ken so he could fix it, instead going off-topic with the promotion of inferior game, also known as Combat Commander.

The one way I saw it made playable was one-scenario at a time, with no hope of saving or continuing. It was also only in playable form in software, not in hardware.
This was in 1.4 only, and was never really stable. Sometimes it worked, others it crashed.
The Combat Commander reference was not meant as an advert -- note the lack of link or mention of specific torrent site -- was meant as a reference "it can be done" --
Research on the crossover games site indicates that our battlezone has not been made 'green' or 'gold' meaning that no one has reported full success in either the linuxes, unixes, or mac os's
