Thanks for mirroring the soundtrack, that will certainly help reduce disappointment if my link is ever broken.

Would anyone be interested in maybe a new arrangement of one of these TRO tracks?
I wrote the TRO original soundtrack and thought it might be fun to go back and re-do a track with modern sample libraries for a lot more realism (the kind of realism I wanted to do originally -- but no one had the technology to make that happen in those days, short of recording a real orchestra.)

Original music artist from the RO team? Yes! I love the RO soundtrack. I doubt you have the source code to RO... but if you did, that would be awesome.

Mr Spock: I voiced a line in the intro of the game (replying to the Chinese "crosstalk") but it was mixed pretty low...it's basically not audible, at least not on the youtube versions, and I seem to have lost my original RO CD so I can't find the AVI of the intro. Spork: no, I don't think I ever had the source code Sorry. So I was thinking of maybe re-doing "Killed in Action", which was track number 6. It was the best track, I thought.

It would be awesome if you redid all of them. I have hard time picking a favorite because they're all awesome. By the way, any idea why there is no track 1 on the RO CD? There's 11 tracks, numbered 2 through 12. If I had to pick a favorite, it might be "track 8" (the 7th song). It's fast paced and starts out with drums. Sounds similar to the main menu theme in Battlezone.

Track 1 on the RO CD is the data (of the game). That's the way old CDs were burned. There's 10 tracks and track 11, if I remember right, was the intro cutscene music.

If there's huge demand for it I would release a few tracks re-done but let's be honest, it's a pretty small community these days. There seems to be some interest in the old game soundtracks now, and people have put several of mine on Youtube as well, but I'll probably have time for one re-make of a track. The track I was talking about re-doing is this, by the way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-CB4FL2 ... re=relatedAlthough I notice that the info on that link is wrong because it claims "marc weerts" wrote the TRO music.

We can't allow RO music composer to miss anything RO related; here it is - http://www.battlezone1.net/extras/ro_intro.zip. Thanks. Hmm, that's a dubbed version, so I don't hear my line in there anyway. I don't they they ever localized this game, is that a fandub?

Ah sorry, my bad, I have 2 versions of RO, that one is in Russian. Ya, I believe it's fandub. I'm uploading original RO intro as we speak... Edit: uploaded. I included whole movie folder this time (intro, outro and credits). Who's Marc Weerts? Can't find him on the credits list... The issue with BZ and RO soundtracks is in not many people still having original CD and the music only plays if you have CD in the drive (or mounted). We asked Ken Miller for music folder improvement, but it seems too complicated for him to make that.

Mr. Spock wrote: Who's Marc Weerts? Can't find him on the credits list... No, he didn't work on TRO at all. Whoever uploaded the Youtube tracks must have looked at a later 'team evolve' member list and assumed this Marc person did the music. I don't know how to correct this. Or dig into the streaming code to change the location from which the info is read. Redbook audio is similar to WAV but not exactly the same.

I tried to PM 0mikr0n about it, but he doesn't accept PM's outside friend-list. Then I tried to become his "friend", but even though he logged into his account in the meantime, he hasn't approved my request. Maybe he's Marc Weerts. If I was you (and if you tried the same and failed), I would notify YouTube directly. That material is copyrighted, right? If so, he's breaking the law even if he had the right person credited.

Would it be possible to get the sheet music and/or MIDI files for the RO music? That would be amazing.
