I call all the attention here.
I'm making an important investigation about some Battlezone's projects, I mean Battlezone 3 and Battlezone Classic mod(a mod for Battlezone 2 to bring all the BZ1 units and universe into the BZ2, Furies race included).
If someone is interested(and I think yes^^), please tell me. My goal is to know if these projects are able to born someday as the expectations we surely have.

Here the links :

Battlezone only has 1 project at the moment, and that is the 1.5 patch being made by the Battlezone game programmer known as Ken Miller/Ultraken. Mods made for combat commander and a new game development attempt by a third party "BZ3" don't really have any relevance here.

I know but if someone knows something about it, I want to know. Even if at this time, I'm not sure yet if these projects are a dream or a reality. This is the reason of my investigation.
Are you talking about the patch 1.5 for RO ? Well anyway, I think the 1.5 for Battlezone is a success.

Concerning Battlezone Classic mod, it's a project in work since more than 7 years(!!) but after watching from left to right the forum concerned for informations, I don't know if it is a real project that takes much time or simply a way for the builders of this mod to make people wait for and have attention from everyone. Mmm... The second option is not very funny I think, but if it's true I would rather leave diplomacy and kick their ass...

Yes, Battlezone Classic is a real project for a mod for Battlezone 2. I remember that from a few years ago when I still played BZ2 (before I found battlezone1.net and was able to play the better BZ again :D). I don't know if it's dead or not, but chances of it being released anytime soon are fairly low I presume, unless they've actually worked on it recently. Either way, why need a mod remake of BZ1 when you can play the actual game here :?:

Battlezone 3 (Project Genesis) may turn out to have some potential. I have more interest in that than BZ Classic. Every so often I pop in to see what's happened, which so far is only a "pre-alpha" or two. Sometime in the future something may be created after all, but for now there's not much to see. It may turn out to be decent...one day.

Merci Spl Eagles pour tes informations.

As I thought, BZC is just a way to make everybody wait for nothing, 7 years of...bad luck. Well the interest was for example controlling the Furies and also the Hadeans or the Chtonians.
Concerning BZ3, I am more optimist. There seems to have more hope.
