He left the game quickly. I'm sure hacks will be on again in the next game...

To some, it doesn't surprise, to others like me, who knows. I cheat on single player games all the time, yet I'm still pretty good in multiplayer without them. I die quite often, so no big surprise there.

Seems it's hard to find fair players these days.

Naa, it's not like that. I'm sorry if I, with some of the screen shots here, made it look that way.

For the last few years Battlezone had "only" 3 major hacks (Danny, Kyle & Genx). Recently we got 4th - Oddball (but seems that Kyle calmed down). The problem is in IP's, they all use more than 1 range and many different names, so for those who are not well informed it may seem that there are more (really) bad guys around. There are not. With few IP's in your firewall you may host fair games and have fun.

There are also few of those who exploit FPS bug, but from the general point of view, that's a minor issue.

After reading your post, I realized that partial blame is on me too, for posting these SS's. But you see, posting SS of a fair player beaten makes no sense to me. I post in silly DM only when hackers/tweakers are humiliated. They hack/tweak to become better players, to improve their score, so taking those down is very satisfying.

Warstories is the thread where good games with good guys are posted. This is just a silly DM thread.

I was actually implying the fact that some people can't play multiplayer without cheating, while it's hard to find fair players who would actually play fairly. =P

Ahh.. the good times in BZ2, I should try getting this stuff worked out in Linux. -_-
