this is my second one. I fix the file, because my other hgt was blank, but this hgt file has words on it.

u know i can see the map cuz your playing it and the mountains.. well they are pretty skinny so who would play a map with skinny walls and bunch of small crooked tips. do what i do. make some fat walls. get some nice looking hills not to tall nor small. then add like tall fat sticks, few sink holes, not to deep, and little tips pointing out of the ground. in bases or other parts of the map try painting it so it wont be boring seeing the same color each corner.

I dont need your advice i got mine. :mrgreen: I dont care what people say about maps there just begin judgemental. idc i just post my maps who ever wants to play them :D !!

Great job this time, the terrain isn't bad, it could've used some smoothing, but hey, you just started with all this. :wink:

THIS HEAVILY MAP IS ON JUPITAR HOME WHERE ME AND GOLEM ARE AT. WARNING: THIS MAP WAS MADE BY SUPER HEAVY B^Z, HES WAITING FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD THIS MAP. xD

EDIT: theres a aip file so i think you know how to work the file as better as i do, so injoy the mission. this mission is 2 hours long. :mrgreen:

sorry guys about the no command on the units :shock: there going every where they want :lol:. i never thought i a missions take to long to do, i dont even know i can save and ia mission

Nice, even those simple additions make a map so much more interesting and fun to play! I'll tell you a secret: to actually see your changes on the BZ map, simply delete the .lgt file AFTER you make your terrain changes. Then next time you open that mission, BZ will pause a second to recreate the .lgt file, and the changes will be seen on your minimap.

1. Change terrain
2. Delete .lgt file (ONLY .lgt file)
3. Reload mission

In case you're interested, you can play my first mission which I uploaded: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1856

It's not even scripted at all (its an empty mission, BZ doesn't recognize it as an IA mission) so potentially you could just sit still all day and it wouldn't do anything. But at least it is kinda fun... kinda... just thought you might be interested! :)

newer tip : if u are on some certain type of world then try to use some terrain that will match well with it. reasonable terrain would ace the map. example moon, will need some sink holes here and there (not types of sink holes that u can get stuck in but like a little round crater). some hills and maybe a few spikes. mars, obviously mountainous.

p.s OH yeah I made this mission off on 1.5.1.10.
