 Post subject: MPI: AI stops building units after a while.

Hello!

I'm trying to make a MPI map to play with friends but the AI recyclers/factories always stop building units about 5-10 minutes into the game.
I don't know why this is happening, I've even tried borrowing multiple .lua and .aip files from other MPI missions and got the same results.


Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? :?

Would it be possible for you to upload the mission here? Build problems can have numerous causes and often the easiest/simplest way to troubleshoot it is to just take a look at the map.

Quickly threw together a test on the (ss)moon map.

Basically the AI starts building units until about 5-10 minutes into the game where the unit factories just shut down. Recycles will ONLY build a fighter or a turret if a Scavenger delivers even a single piece of scrap.

I've also noticed that if I add the offensive units (tanks, fighters, etc) into the Defense Account section inside the .AIP file, the Recyclers and Factories will continue to build the exact amount of vehicles set.
They'll just wander around defending the base however. :mrgreen:
