when i am playing red odyssey, while driving a chinese fighter on a mission where cloaking is required(in other words, i should be able to cloak), i press the cloak key(g) and am unable to cloak. i remember having this problem before when i first intalled TRO, and i had to search for a patch or some kind of missing but i dont remember where or what. now, since i hvae reintalled with the new bz1998, i believe i may have lost that patch or file. please help. thank you

Please read the whole post before trying anything.
Save your game and try restarting TRO, and then loading your saved game. If that fails, try this:
1. Restart TRO.
2. Choose DOGS OF WAR or RED STORM. (whichever you were playing)
3. Type "IAMADIRTYCHEATER" to access mission skip cheat and find the mission you were stuck on.
4. Launch it.
Which mission is it? Is it the Chinese Mission "Rescue Me" where you have to get through the Navs and inspect the silo? If so, make sure you cloak before the cinematic happens showing CCA pilots returning from breakfast and entering their vehicles, otherwise for whatever reason the mission won't let you cloak. In that mission, you can just cloak right at the start. Try turning cockpit detail to "Textured" in graphic options, or using SHIFT+F4 to get 3rd person view and press the cloak key and verify that it works. SHIFT+F1 will return to normal view.
TRO has a bug/glitch where cloak is disabled when it should be enabled. For example, start Chinese Mission #1. Now Abort the mission. Now if you play multiplayer, you can't cloak. You'll need to restart TRO.
Now that you have finished reading this post, you should be able to figure out what the problem is. If you still can't cloak I don't know what to tell you.

i got its fixed. thank you so much. i ended up restarting TRO and changing my configuration settings slightly
and yeah it was the rescue me mission (chinese #4) but i was cloaking at the right times. i think the prob hasta do with that bug you mentioned cuz earlier i had been playing some chinese missions at the begining where you cant cloak, then i had gone to multiplayer and noticed i couldnt cloak either.
