Turning DEP completely off is too complicated for an average user, and that's what it takes if one wants to start this build on Vista/7. Is there a way for a new build to be DEP friendly?

DEP isn't very hard to turn off, unless you have never touched a computer before.

Or you can go the pretty route for Windows 7: http://www.stardock.com/products/tweak7/

I already learned how to turn DEP off, thank you. But average BZoner doesn't know how to do it, cause stock BZ doesn't have DEP issues.

BTW, your links are no good.

Those links point to a MS website and the other a major 3rd party developer, they work fine for me. No newbie to BZ-er is going to understand straight off the bat about how DEP is conflicting with the game unless it is posted in the forums and/or on the download page under a "Known Issues" statement.

Why you continue to post about the things you know nothing about? And I'm not talking only about DEP.

You googled for those links and posted them here, without even trying to turn DEP off. You have no idea...

I guess referencing to an official website means nothing? I didn't Google anything, I went straight to the website and ran a search. Now I suppose giving possible means of how to disable DEP is not allowed with my allotted 2 cents?

Either contribute or remain of no valuable help for those needing this information.

You don't turn DEP off completely like that. If you ever tired, you would know.

Edit:
Try this link instead. 8)
