Hi, this is my first post so bear with me.
I have just installed Battlezone 1.4 on my windows 7 machine and after I select play from the splash screen, Battle zone crashes and I get a "0xc0000005" error.
I have triered the cmpatibility wizzared about a hundred times and no luck with the program.
System specs:
Dell Percision 650
Dual 2.4 GHz Xenon processors
2 gB of ram
Nvidia 7800 GS video card
Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600

Hi, 0xc0000005 error is DEP related. You have to turn DEP off for BZ. You will need a lot of luck with Win7 to get your BZ working...

Disregard my last, when you pasted the downloaded bzone.exe did you paste it in and replace the old one? or move but keep both?

Mine's neither, it blocks the options and tells me to use BCDedit on command prompt, which I did, today when BZ wouldn't work I turned it off altogether and it did nothing.

Allston, try turning DEP off completely.

I tried turning off DEP it did not work.
