12 hour notice! Last chance for me to finish remaining games in Division C before the deadline!
riceje owes me game #2; he will pick map.
Need 2 games with:
Dieoonesyius Dominant Kyle Zachtank
That's 9 strat games altogether. A bit much considering I try hard and get 1-2 per week in previous weeks.
EDIT: Riceje, if you don't show up for your 2nd tourney game with me, I suppose you forfeit. I played you in a DM and talked to you in the lobby earlier, you would not play me. You always seemed "AFK" when I asked for game. It's about 3 PM GMT-7 now. You have until maybe 8:25 PM GMT-7 to play me my second tourney game. You will pick the map this time.
Spork VS Dominant Battle by the Sea (my choice of map)
I collected scrap, moved recycler, collected more scrap, and set up base at a location different from my spawn point. I located Dominant and began attacking. I saw my AI take out his recycler right before he lost connection. But I have no ss or video, therefore no proof. I was just about to make a ss when I saw the green screen, when Dominant "left" when he lost connection.

Yeah, riceje played nice AFK yesterday... I was there, I saw it, but he didn't break any tourney rule. You can't really blame him for being there and not playing. Others who needed to play their games and didn't show up at all are to blame too.
Like I said in the lobby, if Dominant was losing the game when he lost connection, in the name of fair-play, he should admit a loss. If he doesn't do that, your story means nothing Spork. Next time get a referee, casue he can rule out in the situations like that. Don't forget what happend to Fly in the last year's tourney. Jazz practically did the same thing and went to the playoffs. Fly didn't post his story to gain the sympathy.
You were aware that it is going to be hard for you with broadband only once per week. Take a look at Zach and Die. You at least tried.
Some were calculating in the beginning of the tourney, others are calculating now. Nothing unexpected, unfortunately...
..you should try to play your matches on a 2 players maps as much as possible. 3 and 4 players maps should only be used for the games with a referee(s). But even then you should play smaller maps with less scrap, like Theater and Moon (which are actually exceptions cause they are basically for 2 players).
Spock and me watched the Jazz vs HyperFighter tourney game some time ago, ending up with Jazz and hyperfighter spawning very close to eachother at one side of Theater, while me and Spock spawned at the other end.
In case games are played on 3 or 4 player maps with 1 or 2 referees, is there any way to make sure the players spawn at their usual host vs guest spawn points? Sortof confusing if you bump into your opponent right away, on a spot you don't expect, while the opponent very well may spawn at his ususal point.
The game vs spork was unplayable for me. I would shoot his units and no shots would count. Game was choppy as hell.. i struggled to build but i had 10 offensive units when spork got close to base. Then my connnection. crashed..
if these internet problems carry on, I will have to withdraw, this is unplayable for me.
I'm aware that my story potentially means nothing since there is no proof.

I would need to verify this, but I'm pretty sure it depends on what order the players join. One opponent hosts, the other opponent joins, and after that the referees should join. That should give the 2 opponents normal spawn points.

I think me and Spock joined as #3 and 4 in that game. Anyway in the second attempt to get the game going. But I think I remember Hyper said he didn't spawn where he expected. Not sure but it also looked like as if host Jazz spawned at the guest spawn. We could do some testing to verify how it works on the different maps.
Edit: nah hyper was host i see now. Then Jazz spawned as he should. But hyper said he spawned at an unexpected spot.

I lost second game on Theater vs Dominant. He thumped me good 1 min out in game and from there it was a lost case I picked CCA thinking a bit extra hull would help me out, but nope. Game over within 5 min
The game on Citadels was a blast. I was pretty soon down to one life and had to work hard for the win. I won the battle for scrap tho and in the end he had just enough to build a supply in his base area. He tried snipe me from there when I invadet but I sent a few bombers to attack the supply building.
Doms lag/loss issues: Some minor warping, but that seemed to bother him too. All in all a leveled playing field.
