first game:

WOW so close!!!! and you were fighting hard. i didnt realize how fast you were taking my tanks down.

2nd game. i got trashed. you BARELY got me at the end tho...

Hehe, yeah first game was veeery close! Lot of action in second, really hot in the end.

Another day, another jens slapping and another Excuse..
This time the reason was his phone..
SLAPPED!
I collected most of the scrap and jens was basically done for after he lost a life pretty early.
He tryed by moving his recycler and factory to the geysers near my armoury.
A carefully placed nav beacon told me he was incoming on my rec. So i quickly ran back to base killed ejected him and killed all of his offensive units.
As im repairing he mysteriously gets a phone call and he leaves.
He was done. I suppose the 'phone call' was to minimize his suffering of getting beat, yet again.

Today's lesson? Never switch away from the game, especially on a small map like HiLo, even to talk to that friend on Facebook

A SHORT game against abdurahmanebnhatab (?). I switched out of BZ to talk to a friend, and he suddenly had a barracks right outside my base with 2 APC's incoming. Oops I got 'pilot-raped'. We learn from our mistakes, though...right?

Who ever switches out of BZ or willingly goes AFK in a strat game? That would be incredibly boneheaded.

Wow, afk during a stratgame to talk to a friend is suicidal. It would be like in a real-world war in the middle of battle to stop shooting to call your wife.

Sporkinator VS Lone Fox
Draconis (custom map); 2 lives; Sync OFF.

Lone Fox was loud in the lobby, proclaiming himself to be one of the best BZ players. I humiliated him in a DM that he hosted. He then hosted a 4 player sync OFF strat. After seeing that he can barely shoot in DM, I knew he needed a head start, so I gave him a few minutes before I joined. Anyway, I joined and began collecting scrap. I built a small escort consisting of a tank, light tank, and scout, then moved my base and collected more scrap while trying to locate him. He commented "I saw that, you running around". Knowing that he could apparently see me, I knew I had to be close. I located him by himself in his tank. My boys and I came after him, knowing he would retreat into his base. He lead me right to it. I built some more attack units and brought in a couple of APCs.

I don't know why my scrap collection is so surprising, I had over 5 minutes to collect it. Anyway, we ejected him and let him live while I did some damage to his factory, and my 3 friends handled the recycler. He sniped one of my friends and managed to eject me, so I sniped one of his friends, and let my 2 pals know which tank I am in by telling them to follow. We ejected him out of his tank, but 2 of my friends died. Only the scout remained nearby. I told him to avenge the death of my friends and kill the Lone Fox. He did a good job. Fox is killed and only has one life left, but I was unaware of the life limit until the end. Anyway, I don't remember exactly what happened, but I got ejected again and told one of my APCs to attack Fox, and Fox was strafing halfway up a hill shooting my soldiers and offense units with his tank. Well, I landed on the ground and got him in my sights. He nearly stopped moving and I sniped him. Unknown to me, my AI had previously wiped out his recycler (I never watched it die) and that was also his last life.

An observer came in to watch the fight, but it was too late. I had already committed mass murder on my opponent.

you know i would be the kinda person to do that. in so many strats my girl calls me and im stratting while on the phone with her. i usually loose those but occasionally ill do something superhuman like take out 3 ppl at once...

and wow that sounds like a slapping Spork. what map was it?

Lone Fox is a new player with a sense of humor. Warstories was a serious thread, long ago...

The Vulcan has a point.... early on these WarStories were serious business, with only memorable and awesome games being talked about.
In a second point, why isn't WARSTORIES(old) on the first page like this topic? It has some memorable GG's that I like reading. It should be on the 1st page(preferably next to this topic) so others can read it and remember past GG's. Such a good topic shouldn't be kept in the back as if thrown out in the trash.
