Hi,
After about 30 minute or so of playing the ground goes yellow alot with everything except the sky I have already try compatibility mode of windows 98, and turning all the graphics settings to the lowest they can go but it still happens.
Do you know what might be going with my game?

I checked everything under 3D Settings, Troubleshooting, Texture settings, Rendering settings, and testing these settings except the NSDF Mission test thing. Radar type is empty and Visibility Scale is 150.

I have Windows XP AMD Anthlon 65 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2 Gigs of memory Nvidea 8600 GT PCI 1.0 I use on board sound
Here is what happens to me. After about 30 minute or so of playing the ground goes yellow alot with everything except the sky I have already try compatibility mode of windows 98, and turning all the graphics settings to the lowest they can go but it still happens. And even put the game resolution to my size of my desktop and it still does not work.
Do you know what might be going with my game? OK now, I want everybody to first post there, so we could see which system works right "out of the box" and which doesn't. When I say "out of the box", I mean on BZ98 installer, cause it has all current fixes and optimatization for most PC's. If issue can be resolved with 1 post I leave it there, if not, I make a new topic, but since you already have your topic, we can now continue here. When reporting a problem your settings have to be stock (as they were after installing BZ98). That means "Z-Buffer" and "Preload all textures" have to be off, cause those 2 create a lot of problems, although they might not help your current situation... Also try turning shadows off in game settings. I heard it helps but it was never confirmed. Then be sure you have the latest graphic card drivers (you have link for NVIDIA drivers page in BZ98 shortcuts). What you are experiencing is called "NVIDIA's yellow screen bug" and there's no proper fix for it. For some new drivers were helpful, for others, pressing "ESC" when they "feel" yellow might appear (or when yellow appears) then coming back, resolves the situation.

Heres what i have checked on my configuration utility. Everything except 3D Settings leave Hardware Mip-mapping unchecked and Rendering settings everything unchecked and I have on mine Visibility Scale as 100. Texture Settings everything checked except Enhanced, Large Textures and have TroubleShooting everything checked and I have mine with windowed mode adn skip intro checked. No compatibility mode checked.
See if that works.

I checked the settings you said to Manson and I still have the yellow screen. Is there anything else I can try?

I wasn't talking to Manson, I was talking to you, and I didn't say that render configuration will help you resolve yellow screen, I was just replying to your render post where you said that you have everything checked. Manson has dx9 card, he's not experiencing yellow screen and he can't help you. You have dx10 card and those cards have memory leak, which causes yellow screen. As I said before, only new driver can help you. If not the latest, then the one that's not made yet. If pressing ESC from time to time isn't helpful, play in sw mode while waiting on a better driver. No yellow screen in SW mode.

How do I choose software mode? It only asks me once and thats if the game crashes. I think that I got the yellow screen is SW mode to.

I suggested it as soon as you posted your system specs. When asking for help you shouldn't pick what you like from my answer, you should do exactly as told if you want to even come close in fixing the problem. You have software mode shortcut under Troubleshooting in BZ98 start menu folder.

Thank you for the help spock. SW mode did not give me any yellow screen. I can only hope that Nividea gets a better driver for my card.
And thank you again.
