Hello,
I recently have a problem during the game with the radar map. I can't see the letters in it to know where are my tanks or where is the North for example. I remove and install the 1.4o Patch and the game itself, a lot of times, but it doesn't work. Now I can't even start the game from the CD (unhandle exception). It starts only with the shortcut of the patch. I install a fix for Vista, it doesn't work better.
Before this problem, I have installed Left4Dead and Steam, I have clean temporary files and others suggested by Windows. Could it come from those modifications, or from 1.4o Patch ? After this problem I have downloaded the latest patch for my graphic card (nVidia 8800 GTS) : no results.
Must I put the 1.4o patch in the Activision folder ? Some says it could be the render.cfg, but I don't know how to proceed. And my last question (I hope) is : can anyone tell me how to configure the "Configuration Utility" (if my problem comes from this).
Thanks for your help. Please write your answers in simple words, because I am not English and either a technician. See you soon.

Hello Firx,
Bz 1.4O ins't a patch, it's an installer and it goes in its own folder. Your problem sounds like a DX10 issue. For startters, try a clean Bz install, now when you have the latest graphic card driver.

Thanks Stratter for your help,
Finally I have decided to solve the problem with a restauration of my system. Now it's seems ok. I am happy that you have wrote a post about racism in BZ. I have noticed a lot of rude attitudes too in the Chat of BZ. It seems like frustrated and agressive children, so brave behind their computers. Dirty players, dirty men. I don't know why they play, or simply exist.
See you soon.
