Hey Gang! BZ here,It's good to see the game with e new life. I'd like to suggest to the forum members that, the creation of a new Custom Flag page link be introduced and implimented. The rationale being that C/Fs spark interest and promote participation and competition. I submit it be put to a vote. also, with the anticipated arrival of updated game completion.I was thinking a promotional video of tailored death match and strategy game play scenes of best current players would up the stakes for revival. Quote: You should post your flags on the forum too, so that we can all see them without you having to show them to us 1 by 1 in the game. From what I remember, you had some really nice flags. Let's see them all! These are just a few sorts of images that can be accomplished

Flags are small files so it's not a problem to upload them here. When enough of them gets collected, I guess a flag page on bz1.net could be created. http://www.battlezone1.net/flagsP.S. BZROM, there's no need to bold and color your complete posts.

About how this page is to be scripted; a screening widow where 'new' post are made and voted on by members. With (X)? amount of votes before it makes it to download. This should moderate download traffic and keep less popular flags out of the main stream. Any thoughts? BZ

Any thoughts? BZ Voting System seems a bit too much as the site isn't that busy, I thought it'll be a page with all the flags with instructions on how to save the file at the top of the page.

Hey Tom, Yeah i understand about "Voting System seems a bit too much as the site isn't that busy". It's just these conditions, that this may address. Yes it does seem " a bit " complex. Perhaps....And current site activity may seem to be in a lull. But user interactivity with the sites interface, along with allowing people to have "thier" say about the outcome of things. Would be a facet to the sites activities as much to the members. BZ

With the flags you can see what your downloading and it doesn't effect the game play at all, so it's really down to personal choice even if theres something telling you whats popular and what's not. With the multiplayer/ instant Action maps you've got no idea what your getting apart from a small picture and a description which can be misleading (i.e. someones definition of hard is easy to others). As long as it stays simple and updated regularly it'll be ok.
