I want to mod Battlezone and experiment a little, but if the experiment fails, I want to be able to go back to what I previously had. Since I don't have the room to keep the installer around, I want to know as a definite before I start:

Can copying the addon folder in pristine, mint condition preserve and restore BZ to it's original compatibility over multiplayer?

I guess if you were only messing with addon, then saved original addon would restore your original installation, but if you were messing up with something else too...

Also, when you next time host your mod game, name it like that, or put a PW, cause people kept trying to join your game with BZ/RO, getting MVM, not knowing whats going on.

Addon is 70MB and installer is 170MB, not a big difference... And reinstalling is much easier and clearer than addon thing.

Yeah, I remember that. I also remember leaving and finding a game called "Stock Files DM," which made me laugh a little.

Everyone in the clan likes the mod, so we'll be using it for awhile. It should get boring quickly, since there is only two of us capable of using the mod. :?

Don't worry Spock, in a weeks time, tops, we'll be back to good old stock BZ 1.4 :D
