I've been away from BZ so long and now there are a whole lot of custom maps, too many to test them all out. But the few I downloaded at random weren't very good, maybe I was unlucky but what I saw so far was certainly not up to the standard of the original stock maps.
I'm more interested in the visuals than gameplay. Something I'd really like to see is massively customized maps, things with new textures, modded palettes or lighting done really well.
So, can anyone suggest some A Grade user made maps?

So, can anyone suggest some A Grade user made maps? This is like expecting a paraplegic to change a light bulb in the ceiling by himself. The only fantastic lighting you'll get is during gameplay.

There are some good maps that didn't get in BZ98 installer?
Copying addon will cause a MVM. It shouldn't be done. Beside, we are still in the phase of testing stock maps. We can't allow someone reporting bad map issue as BZ issue.
Also, it is not recommended to use 3rd party tools when testing 1.5.

My old favorite DM map is not in the 98 installer. I've been looking through the map files here and on bzscrap trying to find it again.
There appear to be a a good number of maps I am unfamiliar with in the 98 installer. I've been scouting them out to get use to them. heheh

There is a map on bzscrap not available on http://www.battlezone1.net/maps?  Also, don't forget what I said here. Since then I uploaded maps from whole bzscrap + several other (now dead) sites.

I'm with slight, I'd like someone to recommend some IA or MP Maps.
Also, I'd like to know if there are any (good) Red Odyssey IAs.

Start --> Programs --> Battlezone 1998 --> IA Missions Try those and then look for new maps if you want more.  With MP maps, it's pretty much the same story, try the ones that already come in BZ 1998. "Battle Arena" is a very popular custom DM map and "Bio Metal Run 1.5" is a popular custom strat map. There's quite a few custom maps in there that get forgotten. Try them out.
