Battlezone 1

Ok Im on the missions where you have to RECYCLE 5 enemu silos, not destroy them. However the missions keeps failing me saying I cant destroy the silos when I havent destroyed any..... Can someone explain this to me?

Some of the silos are badly damaged and can easily be destroyed by accident during battle. This is why you must try to lure the enemies away from the silos before engaging them. If you are careful, you should be able to clear each area and recycle the silos using your constructor without accidentally blowing them up.

Well the missions fails me even if I havent blown one up in battle......Like I'll be in transit from one silo to the next and it will suddenly cut to that mission fail screen ...

Make sure you didn't lose your recycler. That's another way to fail.

Well I figured it wasnt that because the fail screen says "Your mission was to RECYCLE the silos not DESTROY them!" or something like that.

Yeah, I played the mission again just now, and you'll get a lecture if you recycler blows up You will only see that mission fail screen when one of the silos explodes, whether you kill it, or the enemy kills it with crossfire during battle. I failed that mission many times due to a silo blowing up from the AI killing it by mistake. My units would blast right through it, or the enemy AI light tanks would get careless and hit it with a tag cannon and blow it up. You might try sniping some or all of the enemies from distance to reduce the amount of resistance you will face, or you can purposely miss the dot which will make them come towards you, where you can get back in your tank and destroy them away from the silo. I don't know what else to suggest.

I remember that mission. I saved many times once I realized what I was supposed to do:

Silo recycled. Save. Move towards next silo. Save. Reach next silo. Save. Snipez. Save. Silo recycled. Save. Repeat.

So perhaps an excess of saving, but I was tired of redoing the mission by that point and didn't want to risk failing again.

And not very hard for those who have played it a few times without the cheats.

yeah i rember the first time i played it thorugh and it was nearly impossible. as in the difficultly in RO is so hard you may think its impossible but there's that small glimer of hope that its possible . so you try again and again and again until you beat it. i played the RO bdog campaign 3 times 1 the first time with cheats. the next time silighlty cheating just the (infinite scrap and ammo). then not cheating at all.

I beat both campaigns without cheats, but I couldn't complete the Black Dog one on hard, I resorted to medium. When doing the Chinese campaign I had to switch to easy on Mission 2 (or 3?). The Chinese campaign is considerably harder than the Black Dog one. Particularly Mission 7
