I used to have a CD, but it got too scratched and so I had to throw it away. However, my Dad bought a second one and it shattered in his CD drive, so he bought a third and here it is... Bird and Timestamp as proof of the image.

This is my Battlezone disc: Its an OEM one (Offered only with IBM computers. Not to be sold separately ) but its basically just the same disc. The serial number on the cd has no use, i never had to enter it. I've got another cd but I lost it. It was another OEM offered with Topgun joysticks. Nice pic btw, I love your bird.

I have two original disks, including original jewel cases, with that paper cover thing that goes on the inside. And the gold disk with the Battlegrounds, Red Odyssey, 1.4 upgrade, and the BZII demo. All still work great! Oh the glory. Haha.

"Final Code"? And it says "For Review Purposes", maybe that was a CD sent to game review companies?

They send out discs like this to the gaming magazines/websites before the release. Sometimes it's unfinished, alpha/beta code, but this is the final version. I got it from ebay. I was hoping that they may put some extra material on the cd for the press (like concept art or something), but the contents are exactly the same as on the original green retail cd.

Ah I see. Makes sense, I saw "Code" and got excited. Haha. Like it contained the source, even though how much of a low probability it may be.

Does anyone know if you can download the original bz anywhere? (Version 1.0) Just out of curiosity... obviously 1.5 is better but I want to see what the original game was like, especially since I remember playing it when I was 4 or 5! BTW, I do not have a bz cd. But when I first played it as a kid, it was the usual green.
