so ive been working on TRO on hard mode, and one of my biggest problems now is the lack of ammunition. im working on BD mission 10. its the one where you start with 4 tanks and 4 scouts and an armory. its on elysium and you hafta destroy all this chinese stuff (3 recs, 2 factories, and a hanger i believe) thats scattered across the map. how do you beat it? i ran out of scrap to make amo for my units before i had killed the last base.
Well, maybe it's because you let your units destroy other things besides the key buildings. Yes, sometimes you have to destroy a few defensive units, like gun towers and turrets, and there's the occasional battle with tanks, and a few walkers but try to keep it minimal and conserve ammo. After destroying all production units at each base, have them head back to the drop zone to reload. One of the key buildings is a hangar, but if I recall correctly the rest are recyclers, factories, and armories. If all else fails, snipe enemy units.

alright. i was attempting to do exactly all that. i guess when i take out the GTs i cld do it by hitting the actual GTs and not the S-powers, but other than that: the turrets must be destroyed cuz they always shred my units. the recs, factories, armory and hangar must be destroyed for the sake of the mission. the walkers must be destroyed or they will destroy you. and the tank/fighter armies are always trying to hunt you down.

so screw youtube cuz they wont let me upload my videos. it keeps saying "error"
i recorded a mission with fraps, and it made 2 videos (?), one of which was uploadable to youtube, the other was not. then, i tried merging them together with windows movie maker, and then youtube gave me errors on that as well. idk why cuz all the videos are "avi".
wish i could show you my stuff spork..but i like yours

after much confusion, turmoil, and frusteration with windows movie maker, fraps, youtube, various video file converting software, and NOT the CCA in this mission, i have managaed to upload my video of beating Eagles Nest 1(NSDF campaign mission 2) while creating an army of offensive units where the building of offensive units is not possible due to the fact that it hasnt been unlocked. and this was on hard mode.
enjoy
and sorry its hard to see exactly whats going on. you tube and video converting software caused quality problems. any help would be great.
hmm, i wonder if we should ask ken miller if this was intentional?
By the way, I didn't know YouTube allowed videos to be over 10 minutes long, that would have saved me a lot of hassle! It'd be much easier to just upload each mission in one long clip than to have to do so much editing to avoid each part going over 10 minutes.Yours is 10:52!
(I saw that even though I am unable to watch it for some strange reason... all other videos on YouTube are working for me... I don't get it)

hahah i coulda told you that. youtube def allows vid longr than 10 mins. i THINK fraps starts splitting vids once they get longer than 10 mins(im not sure though).
sorry about the errors and quality tho. glad its working now
There are two ways to upload your video: by using our Single File Uploader or the YouTube Uploader (for multiple files). With either of these methods, your videos can be up to 2GB in size and 10 minutes long.
