Battlezone 1

The 2012 Battlezone strat tournament has been decided to happen and will be of course on 1.5.

This tournament will follow similarly to the previous ones to the exception that organizer roll has been taken on by me (Total x Avenger).

This topic is for players wanting to sign up to comment below saying if they want to be part of it or not. Once I have summed up the amount of players wanting to participate, I can then arrange groups and get the ball rolling.

I will try to make the groups timezone friendly.

The maps that will be chosen for play will be the stock maps:

Battle By The Sea.
Big Venus Map.
Blast Chamber.
Canyon Madness.
Citadels.
Corner Pocket.
Ice Ice Baby.
Moon.
Par 3.
Paranoia.
Purgatory.
The Compass.
Theater O' Pain.
Z Neo-Halofexx.
Z Snowed In.


If there has to be rematch because either a player doesn't turning up on time, has to go, or if they leave because they are losing too badly, then the rematch will take place on a 3 or 4 player map so that a referee can spectate. These maps are:

Battle By The Sea.
Blast Chamber.
Canyon Madness.
Ice Ice Baby.
Paranoia.
Moon.
Par 3.
Theater O' Pain.
Z Neo-Halofexx.


All of the games need to have these settings:
Sync Join - ON.
Comm Sat - ON.
Barracks - ON.
Sniper - ON.
Player Lives - 3 or above.


The two players can agree on a rule before the game starts. For example, 'No blasts', 'No splinter', 'No comet'. But not rules like "No Factory" or "No Armory" etc.

Note - You have to pick one alias for the tournament and so you can't change name mid way through it. Let your opponent know what name you're using.

Feel free to ask any questions and make suggestions also .

EDIT: The Player Lives count can be set to 3 or above, whatever the players decide they want it to be, e.g, 3, 4, 5.

I guess I am in! I have a real internet connection this time around.

I believe I am thinking I am interested in this competition. Basing all life's choices off that shaky piece of knowledge, I shall sign up under the alias "Spl Eagles".

well.. i haven't been a strater much but,

Anyone that wants to join the tournament who hasn't yet told me, please say so on here by
Friday 27th January.

After then, I will be putting together the groups.

Then after that, the tournament will start!

Note: The tourney definately will not be in January. It will most likely be in February.

This can be changed to 4 or 5. Lives can be anything from 3 or above.

Any lower and the game can end very early on down to sniping or spawn killing and such.
