 Post subject: Successful Failure in NSDF Mission 2

Play mission 2 as you normally would. Once it's time to escort the transports, watch for a Czar which will park in a crater near your base and just sit there. Snipe the Czar and enter it. When you and the transports reach the launchpad the mission will end and the cinematic will start. After a few seconds, you will be taken to the MISSION FAILED screen and it will claim you were killed in action!

It might work with finishing in any sniped CCA vehicle, but I haven't tried others.

You beat the mission, but then you FAIL! HAHAHA! :lol:

Can't reproduce it on the original Battlezone N64 Cart, darn.
Must have a difference in the scripts of the missions or something.

I was hoping to see it happen on the N64, it would have been funny.

Doesn't work in Mission 1 NSDF, just tried it after sniping the first fighter.

That's quite the glitch. It would sure piss off someone.

I think that happened to me once when i changed vehicles when evacuating.

Of course not Mission 1, this is a glitch in Mission 2.

lol I couldnt get it to work either, however when i did it, my units were still there fighting (like the turrets and the reinforcements)

You can, however, fail the first mission by getting into that flanker and then have another flanker eject you. ==> Fail!
