Gonna patch a possible hole for non-BZ2 players.
I noticed the name Tartarus.
In Forgotten Enemies (BZ2 expansion), the Tartarus IV is the massive hangar of the Nexus, the central AI of what we know as Furies. The fury we know of (flier rather than tank) is based on the Nexus Typhon.
That's what the accepted BZ2 lore says anyway. Your equivalent may well be different.

wow. interesting. in Single Player BZ 1, in the second NSDF mission on titain "united we fight, united we die", you encounter a pentagon-shaped structure that, when identified, is labeled as "tartarus prison facility" and that it belonged to both the olympians and the hadeans. you are also warned not to disturb it and to avoid it. nothing happens if you do mess with it or destroy it.

it kinda sucks that tartarus doesnt do anything in that mission cuz its rather boring anyway. i wish if you messed with it; it would release many furies and maybe activate some arc mines.
cuz i love killing furies. hence my name:P
