Battlezone 1

OK, out of curiosity, I skipped to Chinese Mission 7 and gave it a try. Wow. If you don't die before reaching the bridge, you die at the bridge. If you don't die at the bridge, you die when heading back to the drop zone. If you activate infinite health, infinite ammo, and infinite radar cheats, you still have no chance without saving and reloading. Chinese Mission 7, hardest of all, hands down.

Black Dog #14 is easy (LOL). Black Dog #3 is still very hard for me though, the APC dies. I even left all 4 of my starting offensive units behind where the APC appears, and made the trek to my recycler alone, so that all 4 of those units could be ordered to follow the APC when it came in range, but still no dice. I still can't win the mission whenever I want. Yes, I do build Red Devils and bring them to the APC as well. When I did beat the mission, the APC was smoking badly.

Like I said, Chinese Mission 7 is like Mission Impossible

hackers must really hate this mission

BZ hackers aren't smart enough to play single player BZ or TRO with no cheats. Wonder why they never strat? Because they didn't learn the basics in single player.

Mission 7 is impossible without saves. Some of it for me was just running like hell away from flankers. I only did it at teh north bridge and got there by hugging the western edge.

Mission 3 is hard, The APC gets hammered, I leave the light tanks following it, take the scouts with me. boost to the Rec ASAP, build a few turrets, a few Red Devils and get back to the APC. the bit that got me was when the last two units attack it when it's in that little gulley, The trick is to shoot at the units while they are still cloaked so they attack you first not the APC.
Still stuck on the last chinese mission personally. What annoys me is that if you don't kill the super power plant the units try to kill it and get stuck.

Bdog Mission 3 wasn't put there because I thought some other missions were harder than that.

I beat Chinese Mission 7 with no cheats, but with much saving.

Mastering chinese #7 will be very hard to do. I shall play it more because sniping is fun.

Even though I shouldn't play Chinese #8 yet since I haven't even beat mission 2, I am playing it bit by bit with much saving. Taking out the master power supply is a death wish, but I did it. I climb up the wall and sneak up on 1 of those 2 snipers and take him out and then jump all the way back down to avoid having the 2nd sniper kill me. I then climb the wall on the other side and take out the 2nd sniper. I then plummet downward into the center where the master power supply is and fire plasma at it until it explodes. Then comes the dangerous part: getting out. As soon as you reach the top again, the turrets will try to kill you. Run and jump and hope for the best.

Ok, now think of fighting with only a pilot.

Chinese mission 7 is a blast... just when you think it's safe to peek over a hill or ledge, you get shot at by soldiers, shot at by pilots, shot at by flankers that can't be sniped, shot by turrets and you get sniped! You do not have a base, nor do you have any reinforcements. Time is everything. Get to the bridge too early and you'll die before the convoy arrives while waiting for them. Take too long and you miss them and fail. I don't know if it's because of the difficulty being set on hard, but it takes 2 sniper rounds to detonate the crates, not just 1.

Make a copy of your TRO shortcut and you can launch it any time by adding chmisn07.bzn to the path.

Wow, sounds like a hard mission that I'd never finish.

I ignored all of the pilots and turrets jumped straight in. destroyed the power supply after the longest 5 minutes of my life. Getting out was easy! I stood in the corner, walked backwards up the wall and was out in seconds!! Then I led a bold strike onto the second level of the russian base and was sniped....

Yes, AI snipers are very annoying, especially because they always have more than just 3 sniper rounds. Before you assault any part of the base, you have to drive around while cloaked and roadkill all the snipers you can find. Don't stop moving though, because cloaking doesn't trick the snipers. Those snipers still track you and shoot at you while you are cloaked. Oh, and be careful about where you go, because at some point your cloaking device will stop working.
