Battlezone 1

There are just some Single Player missions that are a true pain in the ass to beat. I'm excluding the regular Bz missions because there easy as hell for many players here.

Also since there aren't more than 10 options around. I pick some randomly hard missions.

I choose Chinese Mission 7 as the hardest of all time. You play as a pilot, snipers are coming at you, soldiers, and you can't snipe s*** NOTHING can help you win it. You have be the ultimate sniper and shooter to win that mission without being shot to pieces or getting your head ventilated.

Out of all the Black Dog missions, none gave me as much trouble as these:

BDog #3: Spilt Milk.

Escorting that APC rarely works out. I have only beaten the mission twice.

BDog #14: Lifeline.

Really not so difficult as it is long. The last time I played it, I beat it without having to reload, this mission takes me over an hour to complete. I have beaten it 3 times, but am not even considering making video if it yet.

I am still having trouble in Chinese mission #2, but it can't possibly be the hardest, I am probably just playing it wrong.

I never found Bdog Mission 3 too be that hard.

Though BDog 14 is a doozy of a mission as well.

If you like Chinese Mission 1, then your gonna love Mission 7 10x as much.

I could not do mission 7 when the APCs went to the bridge in the South East, I always got found by the fighters. I did in one go manage to take out 2 flankers as a pilot using only the plasma rifle, they're such bad shots. Turrets were impossible.

I would like to see anyone try to beat Mission 7 of the Chinese.

Make a video, post it, and try to beat Chinese Mission 7.

Of the PC game, it sounds like the Black Dog mission 14 is the hardest.

Though, I mostly play N64 now, I find the last mission of the N64 Black Dogs campaign (The one where you have to build the launchpad) to be THE hardest; it took me 11 years (all of the time that which I had the N64 game) to beat it, even using all of the cheats (I never play on the N64 game without them, they make it so fun to play).
11 Years!

That might sound hard, If I had the slightest clue how the N64 version is.


Though Bdog 14 is a doozy of a mission.

The N64 version is not much different, except:

- No minelayers, even though the game manual says otherwise
- ALL graphics are different (even the weaponfire is different)
- You cannot make a full base on one of the BDog missions or the game will freeze when it tries to load the satelite
- Music's cooler (my opinion)
- No chinese of course (replaced by the Black Dogs)
- Some missions are different, don't exist or are changed from the PC version
- The other obvious stuff (like controls and the look of the game's menu)

Oh, I get it...


Question: Which game do YOU prefer then...

N64 OR PC VERSION?

N64 version for me, hands down.

Yep, that's it.

I like the "easier version", no competition (online, or anything resembling multiplayer) because I have no opponents. (no one where I live has ever heard of, played, or even seen this game before; I don't doubt if they've even played the older games like N64, SNES, and Gameboy color games before.)

I mean, multiplayer's in the game, there's just no one has ever played it before.

Well that, and also an ex-muliplayer-"virgin" (I've never played a game of multiplayer with anybody before in my life, until I found this PC game).

So enjoy PC game while you can....

and try to play the Red Odyssey, it will give you enough training to become stronger.


But if you manage to beat Mission 7 with ease I will very pissed.
