Why don't you make a map with modified stuff (and name those properly) instead modifying files of the stock game? With a custom map everyone would be able to try your mod without messing with double addons or reinstalling. If you make something good and acceptable it might even go in the next installer.

sounds like a good idea though I dont really know the map editor well :oops:

though it might be easier if i try a pre made map :?

Yes, that's what I thought, your mod on already made map. Name it your_mod_coli or something.

you can put your modified file in the map editor by editing the build list

the files:
b_ambldg
b_amcmbt
b_amprod
b_amsign
b_nebldg
b_sobldg
b_socmbt
b_soprod
b_sosign

buildItem's you can modify what objects can be placed from the menus inside the Battlezone object editor. ( Crtl+A ) Copy the file of your choice, edit and save then drop in addon... it's that simple. You can also change what "Team" by editing the Team number: 1 = friendly, 2 = enemy, 0 = neutral. Warning: neutral vehicles are enemies too!
